IDDS Maternal & Neonatal Health in Tanzania
The Maternal and Neonatal Health Summit held in Tanzania in 2013 was the first-ever themed summit to be held by the newly-formed International Development Innovation Network.
The summit focused on co-creating solutions to specific maternal and neonatal health issues faced by people in poverty, particularly in East Africa. The themed summit was inspired by USAID’s Saving Lives at Birth: A Grand Challenge for Development.
